My Lords, the 3rd Company has translated from the Warp at the edge of the Octarius Sector as ordered. What we have found exceeds even the most dire projections of the Ordo Xenos.

The greenskin menace has spread far beyond initial estimates. Three systems in Subsector Khai-Zhan have fallen silent. Long-range auspex readings detect massive Ork fleet movements converging on the Hive World of Nexaris Prime. Tyranid bio-ships have been confirmed in the trailing edge of the sector — Hive Fleet tendrils probing defenses left weakened by the Ork onslaught.

We have established a forward operating base on the mining moon of Kharsis IV. The local Planetary Defense Force is intact but demoralized. I have deployed Chaplain Theron to bolster their resolve. Reconnaissance squads are being dispatched to assess enemy strength.
